Combi drills are the all rounder drills that you have for all purposes. As a result combi drills typically come with a steeper price tag. This is generally worth it for the increased functionality. The vast majority of combi drills come with hammer functionality so there is both impact and rotational force available.
Given their ability to operate on most materials such as wood, metal and masonry and abilities to hammer, drive and drill with all of the convenience of not needing to change tools. It is a must have for all sheds and trades people.
Some additional features to consider when researching combi drills are weight, size, whether or not the motor is brushless or not, battery capacity of batteries available, the type of chuck, compatibility with current equipment and whether or not it includes a work light.
