The ProCore 18 volt 8.0 Ah offers approximately 90 percent more power than the previous 18 volts 6.0 Ah battery, allowing for significantly improved efficiency. This significant power increase is thanks to an improved cell design and measures taken to minimize internal resistances. At the same time, the ProCore 18 volt 8.0 Ah is very compact and approximately 30 percent smaller than comparable high-performance batteries.

The ProCore 18 volt 8.0 Ah offers approximately 90 percent more power than the previous 18 volts 6.0 Ah battery, allowing for significantly higher efficiency. Two examples: When drilling with a 32-millimeter diameter spade bit in softwood, the GSB 18V-85 C Professional cordless combi drill produces 50 percent more holes per battery charge when fitted with the Pro-Core 18 volt 8.0 Ah instead of the previous 18 volts 6.0 Ah battery. On the GBH 18V-26 F Professional cordless rotary hammer, the high-performance battery even achieves a 75 percent increase in drilling depth at a diameter of 25 millimeters in C30/37 concrete.
