Ideal bit for achieving rapid hole drilling in materials including soft and hard wood, plasterboard, and light building materials. Thanks to the self-feeding threaded tip, this spade bit is able to pull itself into wood rapidly and with minimal exertion required by the user. The spade shape means that chip removal is exceptionally fast and unbeatably efficient. Under test conditions, this bit created holes up to ten times faster than conventional spade bits. This spade bit features a 1/4-inch hex shank system, and is ideally suited for using with portable power drills.
